These terms govern use of the Jacobwise & Co. Inc. website. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site. Separate signed engagement agreements and any applicable service or purchase terms govern services you obtain from us.

Articles, checklists, e-books, comparisons, questionnaires, and other resources provide general information. They do not constitute individualized tax, legal, investment, or accounting advice. Rules vary by tax year, jurisdiction, and circumstances and can change. Consult an appropriate professional before acting on information that affects your situation.
Contacting us, viewing resources, or completing a website questionnaire does not by itself establish an engagement or authorize us to file a return, represent you, or perform a service. The team must confirm the service scope and engagement requirements.
Prices, estimates, and packages
Displayed starting prices and package-finder results are preliminary. Final fees depend on the work, records, periods, forms, and other requirements involved. A written proposal or engagement agreement will identify the agreed scope, fees, payment terms, and any additional work. The current on-page tax profile and bookkeeping questionnaires do not submit answers or create portal accounts. Use an enabled intake or contact the team to begin the client process. An appointment request is subject to confirmation. Do not rely on a draft form or an unconfirmed message to meet a filing or response deadline.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, keeping copies of your records, reviewing documents presented for approval, and responding to requests within the agreed timeframes. Filing and payment obligations remain yours unless an engagement expressly provides otherwise.
Portal security and acceptable conduct
Protect account credentials and tell the team promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, submit malicious material, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use the site to infringe another person’s rights. Provide sensitive information only through an approved secure channel.
Content and e-books
Jacobwise branding and original website materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print materials for your personal, noncommercial reference.
